Marada Movement leader MP Suleiman Franjieh met on Wednesday with Phalange Party MP Sami Gemayel over lunch in the latter's residence in the Metn's Bikfaya town and both men stressed on the need to neutralize Lebanon from the Syrian crisis. "The talks stressed on the necessity to neutralize Lebanon from Syria's war, regardless of the Lebanese factions' stances towards the neighboring country's conflict," a statement released by Gemayel's office revealed.
A delegation representing the El Marada Movement Australia headed by Coordinator John Bayeh visited the St. Charbel's Monastery, Sydney, and extended congratulations and best wishes to the Maronite Bishop-elect of Australia Dr Antoine Tarabay.
Prime Minister Designate, Tamam Salam, met with "The Free and United Lebanon Decision" Bloc Head, Sleiman Frangieh, MP Salim Karam, MP Estephan Doueihi and MP Emil Rahme. Frangieh wished him success in forming a new cabinet representing all sides in the country.
El Marada leader MP Suleiman Frangieh reaffirmed his understanding of the position of his allies in term of the recent binding parliamentary consultations which resulted in the nomination of Tamam Salam as the designated prime minister, and pointed out that his position to refrain from nominating Salam was in line with his convictions.
